Permissions
Every permission the extension asks for, and why.
The extension asks for these permissions. The debugger permission is the reason Chrome shows a warning on install.

debugger | Read the network responses of X, Reddit, Product Hunt and Google Trends pages in the background Radar tab. Attached to that one tab only while a scan runs, never to tabs you opened. |
tabs | Open, navigate and close the background tab; open the report page. |
tabGroups | Put the background tab in a collapsed group named “Radar”. |
storage | Store your settings locally. |
unlimitedStorage | Keep weeks of scan history in IndexedDB without being evicted. |
alarms | Automatic scans, catching up missed scans and the 14-day review. |
notifications | Tell you when a scan finishes. Can be turned off. |
| Host access | x.com, reddit.com, producthunt.com, trends.google.com, github.com, api.github.com, huggingface.co and api.deepseek.com. |
| Optional host access | Requested at runtime for the one AI endpoint you enter, since it can be any provider, including a local one. |
