Troubleshooting
Known limits and what to do when a platform comes back empty.
Check the Runs tab first
The report page's Runs tab lists every task with its status and error: a page that failed to open, an API status code, or “no timeline request” for X along with the X endpoints that were seen.
X returns nothing
- Make sure you are signed in to x.com in this browser.
- The first X scan only learns known names; new names start from the second.
- On a 429 Radar stops X for the day. Try again later and read fewer accounts.
Google Trends has a chart but no related searches
The related-queries endpoint rate-limits easily. The curve still shows; related searches return on a later try.
X or Product Hunt broke after a site update
These rely on the sites' internal data. When they change, the parsers in src/collectors/parsers.ts need updating.
An automatic scan didn't run
Automatic scans need the browser open. Check quiet hours, and turn on Catch up missed scans to run once on next start.
Known limits
- English interface only.
- Chromium browsers only; not on Firefox.
- No keyword difficulty, traffic or domain data — those need paid SEO databases.
